Those 3AM Ads
According to John McCain and Hillary Clinton, the newest 3AM alarm will sound over the economy. Note to John McCain: That alarm has sounded and it was actually at about 1pm on a Sunday when the taxpayers saved Bear Stearns from imminent destruction.
I just want to add something here. I am routinely up at 3AM, mostly because things are very, very quiet then. 3AM is when nothing happens. Those 3AM crises are a figment of fearmongerers’ imaginations.
Just ask George W. Bush when his first crisis was. (Hint: more like 9AM)
