Swag-O-Rama: Help the Momocrats get to Denver!
My friends the MOMocrats are on their way to Denver for the Democratic National Convention after being selected as one of the official blogging organizations. This is a very, very big deal. They were selected based on the quality and focus of their blog.
I was fortunate to meet most of the Momocrats at BlogHer08 and I can honestly say that I’ve never met a more intelligent, engaged group of women. Their selection as convention bloggers was a wise one on the part of the DNCC, and I’m looking forward to their reports from the convention.
However, getting and staying there isn’t cheap. I was wrestling with the same dilemma if I had been chosen. They’re raffling off 21 very cool swag bags. Each opportunity is $3. I’m thinking of going for #3 or #21. If you’re not interested in the swag but want to support them, they gratefully accept donations, or will donate your winnings to an appropriate women’s and children’s shelter.
As an added bonus, if you decide to help them out and leave a comment here, I’ll post one never-before admitted to confession over on the personal blog for each comment here. Or if you’d prefer, I’ll post someone else’s confessions. 🙂
