Oh, the firestorm that ensued. I think she was probably called ‘elitist’, too. Certainly she offended many women who took pride in staying home, baking cookies and having teas, which certainly raised money and consciousness in their communities, too.
Somehow, the Clintons survived to go onto the White House. Might be worth reminding the now driveling and snarling cable pundits, because they are like a dog with a bone that can’t let go. Now that Reverend Wright has smacked them down smartly, they’re in survival mode.
T minus 7 days and counting until Pennsylvania goes to the polls and it’s safe to turn on the TV again.
