Coincidence or Contrived?
Questions: Is there any way that you can imagine that not one single vote was cast for Barack Obama in 80 election districts in New York City? And is there any way that you can imagine that situation happening in districts which had vocal Obama supporters with signs, fliers and rallies? Is it mere coincidence that this vagary happened in districts like Harlem’s 94th Assembly District, which is represented by Charles Rangel, fervent Hillary supporter?
Answer by the New York Times and New York election officials: It’s just a clerical error.
City election officials said they were convinced that there was nothing sinister to account for the inaccurate initial counts, and The Times’s review found a handful of election districts in the city where Mrs. Clinton received zero votes in the initial results.
Seems strange to me that the two most glaring examples of “clerical errors” are New York and New Mexico, and both errors inure to the benefit of Hillary Clinton.
