A Brilliant Tribute to JFK
It seems incredible that it happened so many years ago and yet, that memory is as etched on my brain as if it (cliche’ alert) happened yesterday. Even at 5, I understood that a terrible, terrible thing had happened. Just a few years later my mother was helping at the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles when RFK was assassinated. Those two events shaped my view of politics in inexplicable ways.
