		<description>In the opinion of a cynic, &quot;It just might.&quot;  Oversimplification and appealing to the baser human emotions have a long and illustrious history in politics.  No, not everyone is satisfied with the bumper sticker mentality that prevails, but winning only requires that more than half of those voting accept the dumbed down easy answers churned out by the politics of stupidity.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Don&#039;t get me wrong.  I wish it were otherwise, but politicians aren&#039;t going to abandon the politics of quick and easy answers bundled into pithy code phrases as long as they work with a majority of voters, and while there are exceptions, I don&#039;t see voters demanding more honest but complex answers and solutions.  Instead, I see a majority of voters continuing to eat up the sound bite.</description>
