Roadkill,

Actually, Obama only lost by 11,152 votes...so it sounds like maybe Union County was holding out for doing Hillary a huge favor.

Or not. But see, that's what offends me so much about this. It couldn't just be that they had difficulties in Union and Lake counties, no. It had to be ugly tampering allegations.

And that Hammond guy should have to pound about a ton of sand...

I couldn't agree more. And I'm still waiting for that apology. BTW, Union County, a 99% white rural county in S.E. Indiana, was even later than Lake County in releasing its returns, but CNN didn't say anything about it. I'm convinced that Hillary's folks were firing off emails and calls to CNN to push the conspiracy angle against the mayor. They were already talking recount before the returns came in. Whatever happened to that? I guess since they came out more favorably than expected for Hillary, then nothing could be wrong. Why is that? Why were they more favorable to Hillary? Maybe we should do a recount. Obama only lost by 14,000 votes... One last note, if Lake County had come in earlier, it would have tightened the returns earlier in the evening, which would have caused the networks to freak out earlier and perhaps caused CBS to revoke its projection, and most importantly, probably would have caused Hillary to not give her speech until the returns were final. So arguably Lake County did Hillary a huge favor by delaying the returns.

Hi adventureran,

Olbermann is at his best when he's on fire, blasting opinion. I don't always care for his style, but at least he tries to be fair (except with respect to BillO...who doesn't deserve it anyway.

None of the cable news channels are that great, but MSNBC seems to be the lesser of 3 evils at this point.

I whole heartedly agree on CNN. Wolf Blitzer has looked and sounded completely out of his league during this entire election process. I much prefer MSNBC overall, however, am not a Keith Olbermann fan. His smart-assed (forgive the expletive) humor played fine on ESPN, but not as an anchor during such important events as election nights or major world-wide tragedies. I would much prefer to watch & listen to Lestor Holt who so ably guided us through the tragic day of 9/11. Too bad he's been relegated to Today Show sub and weekend duties. The news should be reported by someone you trust. Do you trust Olbermann with any 'facts'?
