Bill Clinton’s Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy

May 26, 2008 · Posted in Election 2008

I suppose it was to be expected, given that the Clinton campaign joined forces with Senator Clinton’s ‘vast right-wing conspiracy’ the day Richard Mellon Scaife endorsed her. But really, do you think there’s a conspiracy to ‘cover up the truth’? Bill Clinton does, at least when he’s campaigning in the Midwest:

“I can’t believe it. It is just frantic the way they are trying to push and pressure and bully all these superdelegates to come out,” he said at a South Dakota campaign stop Sunday, in remarks first reported by ABC News. “’Oh, this is so terrible: The people they want her. Oh, this is so terrible: She is winning the general election, and he is not. Oh my goodness, we have to cover this up.’”

The only conspiracy here is the Clinton campaign’s effort to use incredibly misleading spin like “she’s winning the general election”.

These kinds of comments are like a high-pitched whine, designed to force the listener to drop to their knees and capitulate, crying “please, please, I’ll do anything you want. Just please make it stop!!!”

I'm getting so sick of Billary. They've lied about their past and about current facts. They've whined about how everything is unfair. They snarkily denigrated Obama and his candidacy.

Even when I agree with Billary - the media has been pro Obama and they've declared him the winner far too early - I'm become so sick of them that I can't stand to hear them. They are two of the most self-absorbed, self-centered individuals in politics.
